Possibilities to come to Germany
 

There are different possibilities to come to Germany if you are student at the GUC, e.g.:

• Doing your Bachelor project and thesis at Ulm University or University of Stuttgart,
• Doing an internship,
• Taking part in a Summer Language Course,
• Doing a Master Studies Program.

Bachelor Project and Thesis
 

Every year the best Engineering students in the 8th semester can come to Ulm University (6 months including 3 months internship) or the University of Stuttgart (4 months including one month internship) to do their Bachelor Project and write their Bachelor Thesis there.

If one has applied successfully for taking part in this program (until 2010) one is granted a monthly scholarship from the DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst). The application procedure is run by the GUC, the GUC will address the best students directly.
 
 
 

Internship
 

There are internship programs in the field of Biotechnology/ Pharmacy organized by the GUC in cooperation with the Universities of Ulm, Stuttgart and Tübingen. Every year during the summer months a one month internship is offered at the mentioned Universities. The top ranked students are eligible for a monthly DAAD-scholarship.

The application procedure for this program is run directly by the GUC.

Of course, you can also apply for an internship individually at a company or an institute of a given university.
 
 
 

Summer Language Course
 

In the summer months there are regular offers of summer language courses in different cities around Germany. Generally, they last one month and contain language classes, excursions, cultural events, etc.

The organisation is run by the German Centre of the GUC.
 
 
 

Master Study Programs
 

Graduates of the GUC can apply for Master Study programs in Germany. There is a special cooperation between the GUC and Ulm University as well as University of Stuttgart concerning the Master Studies in Advanced Materials, Communications Technology and Information Technology.
